Dr. Roger Ray is the founding pastor of The Emerging Church (formerly known as the Springfield Community Christian Church) and the author of Progressive Faith and Practice, Progressive Conversations. Dr. Ray earned his M.Div. and D.Min. degrees at Vanderbilt and was a 2004 Merrill Fellow at Harvard. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy.
